Three New Signees From the 2013 Class

 

On Tuesday May 14, the Central football program celebrated the signing of three players

Eman Westmoreland : Paine College

Jourdin Shiloh : Paine College

Isreal Washington: Kentucky Wesleyan

 

Central Grads Are NFL Bound

Central's Edmund Kugbila and Dewayne Cherrington are headed to the NFL following the 2013 Draft and free agent signings. 

 

Edmund Kugbila was selected in the 4th round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.

Justin Brownlee Signs With SSU

 Central's Justin Brownlee signed a letter of intent to play football for Savannah State University on February 25, 2013.

Central Gwinnett's Trey Johnson signs with The Ohio State University

Trey Johnson, the 2nd ranked ILB in America (ESPN top 150), signed a letter of intent to play football for Urban Meyer at The Ohio State University on Wednesday, February 6th.

Central's Trey Johnson makes Butkus Award watch list

Central Gwinnett's All American MLB Trey Johnson has made the Butkus Award watch list.  The Butkus Award is given to the nation's top linebacker and it is a tremendous honor to have Trey nominated for this award.  Trey has led Gwinnett County in tackles for the last two years and is verbally committed to Auburn.  To read the entire article check out:

Freshman team loses to Grayson in the playoffs to finish the season as the #2 team in the region for freshmen.

Congrats to the Freshmen Black Knights for finishing in 2nd place in the region behind Grayson.  The future looks bright for Central Gwinnett.
